Marshalls, the subsidiary of TJX Companies,is a chain of American and Canadian off-price department stores. Its parent company is reputated as the the largest international clothing and home fashion off-price department store chain. What concerns Marshalls itself, it took its name from its founder Alfred Marshall who was the first to propose a new concept of "Brand name for less". It became a succesful project and Marshalls expanded in U.S. with a slogan "Never Pay Full Price For Fabulous". It came to Canadian market much later in 2011 with 38 new stores and a different slogan "Big Brands. Unbelievable Deals".
